New Program Announcements

There's usually a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes. Below are some of the things going on at Houston Dental Assistant School (HDAS) that will give you a better sense of what we are doing.

HDAS Job Bank – is an online service that offers the dental office a no fee recruiting tool to find the right employee. The job board includes a complete job software module with advanced features. You can post a job or view resumes. There is no fee for posting, viewing or hiring; you just have to sign up for your free HDAS Network membership. Academy of General Dentistry – has designated the Houston Dental Assistant School (Provider No. 309789) as an Approved PACE Program Provider. The continuing education programs of HDAS are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry. The current term of approval extends from 3/1/2006 to 3/31/2007. Check the website for future class offering dates.

HDAS Network –Houston Dental Assistant School has formed the HDAS Network; a unique network made possible through the cooperation of Houston Dental Assistant School and our partners in the dental community. The HDAS Network builds on the idea that networking benefits members thru communication and support. Sign up on line at www.hdas.biz . The benefits of joining the HDAS Network include:

· Access to the HDAS Network job bank with advanced features.

· No advertising and hiring fees with free job postings and resume searches.

· Avoid broadcasting your job openings; only qualified candidates will see the posting.

· Member discounts on upcoming continuing education credits for your staff.

· We welcome and will listen to your feedback as the HDAS Network grows to serve you.

New Interactive Website – Houston Dental Assistant School’s announces the launch of its’ new interactive website www.hdas.biz . The new website built around Tendenci ® association management software includes: Job Board; Electronic Newsletter; Articles; Press Releases; Marketing; Contact Forms; Resumes; and Calendar. Coming soon are Events Registration; Forums; Surveys; Service & Product Catalogs; Announcements and Registration for Continuing Education; and Links. It’s a work under progress. The site is designed so you can participate in making the HDAS Network more relevant and useful.
