Houston Dental Assistant School is pleased to present the TSBDE approved Dental Assistant registration course and exam on Friday, June 22, 2012 in cooperation with the Texas Academy of General Dentistry and Dr. Robert Cooley. State Board Registration is REQUIRED of all Texas Dental Assistants who take x-rays after September 1, 2007. To become registered, you will need to take and pass a TSBDE approved course and examination covering required objectives in Jurisprudence, Infection Control and Radiology. New hires have one year from the date of hire to register provided any x-rays taken are under the direct supervision of a Dentist.
