How much does dental assistant school cost in Houston?
At HDAS, $3,550 — covering the full 10-week program, books, supplies, BLS certification and the TSBDE state exam. Other dental assistant classes in Houston often quote a lower tuition and bill books, supplies and the exam separately, so compare the total rather than the headline.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, in full, if you cancel before your session starts. It holds your seat; it doesn't lock you in.
Do you offer financial aid?
We're not a Title IV school, so federal aid doesn't apply. The payment plan is our answer instead — no lender, no credit check, and you graduate owing nothing.
What if I miss a weekly payment?
It's retried automatically over the following days, so a temporary hold usually sorts itself out. If your card has changed, call or text and we'll update it.
Can my employer pay?
Yes. Some Houston practices sponsor staff through the program. Call us and we'll invoice them directly.
Is the state exam really included?
Yes — both the TSBDE registration course and the exam itself. You take it after graduation, and it's already paid for.
Are there any other fees?
Only the $305 if you use a payment plan, and only if a balance carries into your session. Nothing else, at any point.
