Frequently asked questions

What does the $3,550 cover?

Everything you need to become a Registered Dental Assistant — your health care workers CPR, textbook, study guides, and the TSBDE state approved RDA exam. There are no hidden fees on top of tuition.

How do the weekly payments work?

If a balance remains when class starts, it's spread over 10 weeks — $288 a week after a $975 deposit, or $218 a week after $1,675. The first payment is the one you make yourself. We email you an invoice before your first day, and you pay it manually. Every payment after that is drafted automatically each week, so it's the only one you need to action.

What is required to enroll at HDAS?

Two things: an enrollment application with a deposit to reserve your seat, and a high school diploma, G.E.D., or college transcript with 12 or more credit hours. Documents from outside the United States need validation through a third party such as SpanTran.

When does my seat get confirmed?

Right away. As soon as your deposit goes through you'll get a confirmation with your next steps, and your seat is held for the session you applied for.
